We are able to offer courses which are interactive, informative, enjoyable and overall, designed to improve communication between D/deaf people and hearing people.
We offer a wide range of training suitable for everyone which could include:
- Deaf Awareness (DAT);
- Deafblind Awareness (DBAT);
- British Sign Language course (BSL Levels 1, 2 and 3);
- Basic Lip Reading;
- Hearing Aid Awareness;
- Communication Tactics; and
- Taster courses in a range of topics.
Courses are certified by, and offer a recognised qualification from,the awarding body
Signature.
We can also tailor, or personalise courses to the needs of organisations or groups of individuals.
All our training staff are expert in their subject but crucially, also have personal experiences of D/deafness in all of its forms. The D/deaf community has a rich culture and history and our trainers reflect this.
