Coronation Street star William Roache & Mayor of Macclesfield, David Neilson unveiled a new office in Macclesfield last month on behalf of Deafness Support Network (DSN).
The Macclesfield office was launched at the time of our 35th anniversary and will operate alongside the work of three existing offices in Chester, Warrington and Northwich.
DSN provides a range of support and services for deaf, deafened, deafblind and hard of hearing people across the region from youth and communication services to training and technical assistance.

William Roache said: “The new centre in Macclesfield is fantastic. I don’t think there’s enough publicity around deafness and so the work of charities like DSN is so valuable to the deaf community to let them know about the help and advice that is available to them.”
