Manchester Airport Shows Commitment to Disabled Passengers

01/09/2011
Manchester Airport has launched a new service to help people with disabilities. The guide is designed to give disabled people all the information required to plan their journey to one of the UK’s business airports.

The new interactive guide helps people visiting the airport right from the airport car park to the departure lounge, or alternatively from arrivals through to the car park.

Many factors have been taken into account with disabled customers in mind. The guide includes information on details of the fixtures and fittings in the disabled toilets or hearing assistance systems, lighting levels and dimensions of the parking bays.
