How do I renew my Blue Badge?

01/09/2011
The Blue Badge Scheme is a national arrangement of parking concessions for people with disabilities who travel either as drivers or passengers.

The scheme also applies to people who are registered blind or severely sight impaired, and people with very severe disabilities in both arms who regularly drive a vehicle but cannot operate or have considerable difficulty in operating all or some types of parking meter.

A blue badge allows holders to park close to their destination, but the national concessions apply only to on-street parking.
You can obtain a renewal form by contacting the Blue Badge Team at your local council office:

·        West Cheshire on 0300 123 7040.

·        East Cheshire 0300 123 5020.

In West Cheshire if you require a disabled parking place putting outside your home, please contact the Highways Team on 0300 123 7036.
