DSN help City Walls bunting bid

09/03/2011
DSN has become one of the latest organisations in Cheshire West & Cheshire to join in the Fairtrade Fortnight world record attempt for the longest hand designed bunting to encircle the whole of Chester's Walls.

The 'Cotton on to Fairtrade' event, which involves community groups across the borough takes place on 12th March 2011 and will involve 13,200 flags stretching 3km as part of the celebrations.

Sue Tait handed out packs of bunting to Day Service Users and Volunteers who will be decorating their own Fairtrade triangle of Fairtrade cotton. These will form part of DSN's contribution, to be joined by contributions from across Cheshire West and Chester, to encircle the Walls.
