Congratulations to Olympic Torch Bearer Lauren!

13/06/2012
Congratulations to Olympic Torch Bearer Lauren! We have all seen in the news the stories of Olympic Torch bearer's across the UK, but it's lovely to hear of our very own torch bearer going throught the town of Wrexham.
Lauren Fisher age 14 from Winsford, a founding member of Deaf Active Cheshire was nominated to be an Olympic Torch bearer due to her experience of having cancer at the young age of 4. She has shown how strong she is by overcoming the cancer, and now would like to be a playleader at a hospital to be able to share her inspirational stories to everyone. Lauren said 'I would like to be a playleader in a hospital because that was the best time in the hospital when I could play and talk to the other children.'

Well done
and Congratulations from all at DSN Lauren, we are very proud of your achievement!!!
