To mark our 35th year of operation, we have chosen the Dalmatian to be Deafness Support Network’s mascot, as a bit of friendly fun, to encourage people of all ages to come over to chat to us and visit our stands when we are out and about.
We chose the Dalmatian as they are susceptible to hereditary deafness that occurs when Dalmatian puppies are about 15 days old.
We have purchased a range of Dalmatian gifts to sell, to raise funds for our projects and services.
Wherever possible we have purchased from the British Dalmatian Welfare Society, so that when you buy you will not only support people with a hearing loss in Cheshire and the surrounding area - but will also help The British Dalmatian Welfare Society to support, offer advice, and help re-home Dalmatians, whatever their background or breeding.
We also offer opportunities for people to support us through taking part in games and activities on our stalls, where there is a chance of winning some Dalmatian Merchandise.
